During an appearance on The Glory Daze Podcast, Manziel expressed his belief that Saban should be appointed as the commissioner of the sport, stating, “We need a Nick Saban. We need somebody who knows the ins and outs of what’s going on.”

According to Manziel, “Shady agents and people that are not qualified to be athletic agents” are taking advantage of young athletes, often charging them between 15-30% of their potential earnings.
