The video, provided by resident Robin Wymer, shows a driver running a stop sign and colliding violently with another vehicle. Wymer described the moment vividly: “I hear a crash, which I’m familiar with that noise. I quickly look up at my surveillance camera and, ‘Oh my god, there is a vehicle coming right towards my house.’”
Witnesses report that Wymer’s husband, Tim Theodore, immediately jumped into action after hearing his wife’s scream. He rushed outside to find a man ejected from the car and the vehicle engulfed in flames. “He proceeds to drag the gentleman away from the flames,” Wymer detailed, highlighting her husband’s bravery.
Muskegon Township police confirmed that the driver who caused the crash had indeed run the stop sign. Currently, the conditions of both drivers involved remain unknown, but authorities believe alcohol and drugs may have played a role in the devastating incident.
