Disgraced former Duke of York Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson may be permanently barred from entering the United States due to the ongoing fallout from their associations with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. According to historian Andrew Lownie, who authored “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” both individuals are unlikely to travel to the U.S. again for fear of legal repercussions surrounding Epstein’s alleged trafficking activities.
In an interview with NewsNation’s Paula Froelich, Lownie stated, “Andrew will not respond or testify in front of Congress.” He emphasized that neither Andrew nor Ferguson wishes to face arrest or be compelled to discuss their connections to Epstein, a convicted sex offender who was linked to numerous trafficking allegations.
The situation surrounding Andrew intensified following the posthumous memoir of Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide in April 2023. In her book, “Nobody’s Girl,” Giuffre alleged that Epstein coerced her into sexual encounters with Andrew on three occasions, including when she was just 17 years old. Lownie indicated that more victims may come forward, noting, “We’re going to get other names of people who were trafficked to Andrew, particularly girls younger than Virginia.”
