Las Vegas will not receive a decision this week regarding its bid to host Super Bowl 63 in 2029, as the NFL is not expected to vote during its annual fall meetings. According to multiple sources familiar with the situation, the league has initiated exclusive negotiations with Las Vegas for the Super Bowl to return to Allegiant Stadium.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has officially submitted the city’s proposal, which is currently under review by the NFL. While an announcement regarding hosting duties is anticipated, it will not occur during this week’s meetings, which will conclude without a decision.

Future Super Bowl Locations and Las Vegas’ Prospects

Las Vegas is poised to become a frequent host for the Super Bowl, having successfully managed its inaugural event in 2024. In Super Bowl 58, the Kansas City Chiefs triumphed over the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 25-22 at Allegiant Stadium, showcasing the city’s capability to host high-profile sporting events.
