UPDATE: A serious two-vehicle crash on Camp Plenty Road and Soledad Canyon Road has left two people hospitalized after one vehicle burst into flames late on October 29, 2023. The collision occurred just before 10:24 PM, prompting an immediate response from local authorities.
According to officials from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, deputies were on the scene within just two minutes after being nearby. Deputy Mariela Picard reported that both vehicles sustained significant damage, with one igniting shortly after the impact.
Emergency services were dispatched at 10:27 PM, and firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived by 10:34 PM. Eyewitnesses reported seeing flames engulfing one of the vehicles, raising urgent concerns about the victims trapped inside.
Firefighters successfully transported at least one injured individual to the hospital. The condition of the victims has not yet been disclosed, and authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
