BREAKING: Bryan Edward Carpentier, aged 81, of Iron River, Wisconsin, has passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. This heartfelt loss is felt deeply in the community, where Bryan was known for his creativity, generosity, and unwavering support for those around him.
Bryan leaves behind a legacy that includes his children, Robert (Jenny) Carpentier, David (Susan) Carpentier, and Wendy (Jeff) Gunderson, as well as his grandchildren, Zoe, Kayla, Jacob, Skylar, Zachary, Rylee, and McKenzie. His girlfriend, Margie, also grieves the loss of a man who made a profound impact on everyone he encountered.
With a heart dedicated to family, Bryan actively supported his children and grandchildren, attending countless activities and coaching them throughout their lives. He proudly served his country for over 26 years in the Air Force and the 148th Fighter Wing Minnesota Air National Guard.
Bryan’s commitment to his community was equally impressive. He contributed immensely to local churches, schools, and civic organizations. A long-time member of the Trinity Free Masonic Lodge #282 for over 54 years, he was also a dedicated volunteer with Shriners International. Notably, Bryan spent over 17 years volunteering at the Bentleyville City of Duluth Holiday Lights Display, where he was an essential member of the Electrical, Santa, and Marketing teams.
A full military honors memorial service is scheduled for October 31, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Saginaw, MN. Following this, a Celebration of Life will take place at 4:00 PM at the AAD Shrine Meeting & Event Center in Hermantown, MN.
