This five-day travel experience will take participants to **Beaufort** and **Hilton Head Island**, South Carolina, from **March 16 to March 20, 2026**. Organizers have planned all logistics in advance, allowing travelers to focus on enjoyment rather than details. Participants will experience South Carolina’s picturesque **Lowcountry**, known for its historic charm, including Beaufort’s antebellum homes and moss-draped live oaks. The tour promises to showcase the area’s unique history, culture, and stunning coastal scenery.
Tour Details and Activities
The itinerary includes four nights of lodging in Beaufort, as well as nine meals, motorcoach transportation, guided tours, and luggage handling. A dedicated tour director will accompany the group, ensuring a smooth travel experience. Activities planned for the tour include a horse-drawn carriage ride through Beaufort, highlighting significant historical sites and popular movie locations. Additionally, participants will visit the **Parris Island Museum**, where lunch will be served on base, and take a tour of the **Kazoobie Kazoo Factory**.
The tour also features a guided visit to the **Penn Center**, which will provide insights into **Gullah** heritage. Nature enthusiasts can look forward to a dolphin and wildlife spotting boat cruise, as well as a visit to the **Coastal Discovery Museum** on Hilton Head Island. Pricing for the tour is structured to accommodate various preferences. **Alumni Association** members can join for **$1,299** per person for single occupancy, **$999** per person for double occupancy, and **$899** per person for triple occupancy. Non-members are welcome to participate for an additional **$100** per person, while annual membership in the **Alumni Association** is available for **$30**.
