UPDATE: Terra Linda High School’s boys basketball team delivered a stunning performance last night, defeating Palo Alto High School 60-44 in the consolation final of the Sonoma County Classic. The victory, which took place on January 3, 2024, highlights the Trojans’ strong season, improving their record to 8-4.

Evan Brewster was a standout, achieving a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds, earning a coveted spot on the all-tournament team. Alongside him, Logan Walters contributed significantly with 21 points and six rebounds, while Wes Harrison added nine points to the scoreboard. This impressive win not only boosts team morale but also sets the stage for their upcoming match against Piner on January 8 at 7:30 PM.

In another exciting matchup on January 1, 2024, Point Loma University showcased their dominance in a PacWest Conference clash, overpowering Dominican University with a decisive 87-62 victory. The Sea Lions led from start to finish, propelled by an 11-point run in the first quarter. Tyce Paulsen was a force for Point Loma, scoring 21 points as they built a commanding 28-point lead midway through the second quarter.

For Dominican, Sargent Jeffery and Jorge Ochoa each contributed 11 points, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap against the relentless Sea Lions.
