Bandfest Day 2 Thrills Audiences Ahead of Rose Parade

UPDATE: Bandfest Day 2 showcased electrifying performances from top marching bands just days before the iconic Rose Parade. The event, held at Pasadena City College on December 30, 2025, captivated audiences with an array of musical talent and vibrant displays.

The second day of the 45th-annual Bandfest featured 19 elite marching bands, each set to take part in the legendary New Year’s Day parade. Despite the overcast sky, the atmosphere was alive with energy, drawing cheers from fans of all ages.

The lineup included renowned groups such as the Homewood Patriot Band from Homewood, Alabama, the Allen Eagle Escadrille from Allen, Texas, and the Indiana University Marching Hundred. Each performance was enhanced by the addition of dancers and auxiliary performers, creating a dazzling spectacle on the field.

The first session kicked off with the Pasadena City College Herald Trumpets and the Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band, followed by exciting acts from the Greendale High School Marching Band of Greendale, Wisconsin and the Bands of America Honor Band from Indianapolis, Indiana.

During the second session, the audience was treated to performances by the Pride of Clover Marching Band from Clover, South Carolina and the internationally acclaimed Mino Jiyu Gakuen “Golden Bears” Green Band from Toyonaka, Japan, among others. The energy was palpable as each band showcased their rhythm and skill, leaving onlookers in awe.
