Megyn Kelly and Mark Levin Clash in Heated Online Feud

A public feud has erupted between former Fox News colleagues Megyn Kelly and Mark Levin, sparked by Levin’s criticism of MAGA influencer Jack Posobiec. The dispute began when Levin labeled Posobiec a “crackpot” for displaying a rosary at the Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest event on October 21, 2023. Kelly, who was present alongside Posobiec at the event, quickly defended him on social media, igniting a fierce exchange.

In a post on X, Kelly stated, “Off to go pray the beautiful rosary @JackPosobiec gave me, like virtually all Christians do, which doesn’t make us ‘crackpots’ no matter what some old, angry anti-Christian nut on weekend Fox says.” She further criticized Levin, mentioning his inability to secure a prime-time slot at Fox News.

Levin, 68, who hosts the weekend program Life, Liberty and Levin, responded later that evening, promising a more thorough rebuttal during his radio show. He expressed disdain for what he termed the “Woke Reich psychos and groyper-bigots like Megyn Kelly” and insinuated that Kelly’s opinions lacked credibility. Levin also characterized Kelly as a “click wh*re” and suggested that she “needs a psychiatrist,” showcasing the personal nature of their exchange.

The hostility escalated as Levin continued to target Posobiec, emphasizing his “long record of Woke Reichism.” He referenced an incident involving fitness podcaster Myron Gaines, who directed antisemitic slurs at a Jewish woman outside the conference. Levin accused Posobiec of associating with Gaines, stating, “This is why Hack Jack is widely condemned. NOT because of his faith. That’s HIS repulsive deflective propaganda.”

Levin’s criticisms extended to Kelly’s support of Posobiec, equating her to other controversial right-wing figures. He remarked, “But, then again, she is no better than her buddy Candace Owens. And now Hack Jack. These are very sinister grifters, folks.”

This exchange comes at a time when Kelly has also criticized other right-wing commentators, including Ben Shapiro and Bari Weiss, accusing them of fostering antisemitism. These remarks drew a stern response from the Anti-Defamation League, which cautioned that holding Jewish individuals accountable for antisemitism can tread into dangerous territory and resemble traditional victim-blaming narratives.

Both Kelly and Levin are well-recognized figures in the media landscape. Kelly, a former Fox News host, is noted for her impactful interviews and political commentary. Levin is a prominent radio personality, known for his conservative viewpoints and staunch support for Israel. The ongoing feud between them highlights the intense divisions within the conservative media sphere, reflecting broader cultural and political tensions.

As this situation continues to unfold, observers are keenly watching how it will affect the public personas of both figures and their respective followings.
