Alongside Johnson, Chris Scott, the Tigers’ head coach, received the prestigious title of Coach of the Year after leading Oscar Smith to its second straight title and fourth overall during his tenure. This season culminated in a decisive 33-20 victory over Indian River on September 20, 2025, at Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, Virginia.
In addition to Johnson’s honor, seven other Tigers were recognized on the first team: junior quarterback Lonnie Andrews, senior offensive lineman Dory Wilson, sophomore defensive lineman Lincoln Halliday, senior linebacker Malachi White, senior defensive back Jayden Covil, senior punt returner Quali Price, and senior all-purpose player Na’Rod Jarvis. The second team featured senior tight end Charles McGlown and Jarvis, who earned a spot as a linebacker.
