R&B sensation Khalid has revealed plans for his 2026 tour, titled It’s Always Summer Somewhere, which will include a much-anticipated performance in Austin, Texas. Scheduled for June 19, 2026, the show will take place at the Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park. This tour marks a significant return for the artist, who has captivated audiences with his unique blend of R&B and pop.
The upcoming tour will consist of 25 dates, commencing in Las Vegas, Nevada, in May and concluding in Berkeley, California, in June. Alongside the Austin performance, Khalid will also perform in Irving on June 17 and Houston on June 18. Notably, he will not be making a stop in his adopted hometown of El Paso, Texas, where he began his musical journey.
Khalid gained fame as a teenager on SoundCloud, leading to collaborations with high-profile artists such as Billie Eilish, Halsey, and Marshmello. His debut album, American Teen, received critical acclaim and set the stage for his successful career, which now includes four albums, with the latest being After the Sun Goes Down, released in 2025.
In addition to his musical achievements, Khalid has garnered numerous accolades, including more than 20 awards, five of which were won at the Billboard Music Awards in 2020. He also received the title of Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2017 and has been nominated for six Grammy Awards throughout his career.
Joining Khalid on the tour will be pop artist Lauv, known for his breakout hit “I Like Me Better.” This partnership promises to deliver an exciting experience for fans attending the concerts.
