Lori Ann Giefer, aged 66, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, in Eagan, Minnesota. Born on March 18, 1959, in St. Paul to William “Bill” and Bernise Giefer, Lori leaves behind a legacy marked by her devotion to family and her creative spirit.
A graduate of Harding High School in 1977, Lori was known for her nurturing nature as a mother and grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in spending time with them. Lori’s creativity flourished through various hobbies, including crafting, cooking, and gardening. She was also an enthusiastic supporter of the Minnesota Vikings, celebrating each game with fervor.
Lori is survived by her parents, William “Bill” and Bernise Giefer of Woodbury, her children Charles “Andy” Reidell (married to Susy) and Laura Larson (married to James “JP”), and her cherished grandchildren: Colette, Lily, Maverick, and Camden. Her brothers, Greg Giefer and Mike Giefer (Cindy), as well as her nieces Erin, Becky, Sarah, and Alyssa Giefer, also remember her fondly, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Scheduled
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life on December 13, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Summit Funeral & Cremation, located at 6415 Carmen Ave. E, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076. Words of remembrance will be shared at 12:30 p.m., allowing attendees to reflect on the impact Lori had on their lives.
As her family prepares to honor her memory, they express their hope that Lori’s spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her. Her generous heart and joyful presence will be deeply missed but will live on in the cherished memories shared by her family and friends.
