Later that day, at 1:27 p.m., police arrested Adam Mikeal Powell, 37, of Chapman Street, on a warrant and for intimidating a witness. A subsequent incident at 2:20 p.m. involved a crash at the intersection of High and Beacon streets, where a van collided with a stone wall outside the Baystate Franklin Medical Center. The driver, Jason Steven Englen, 43, of Broadview Heights in Turners Falls, was apprehended for multiple offenses, including operating a vehicle with a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident.
