The Horror Collective Unveils BloodStream Streaming Service

The Horror Collective has launched a new streaming service called BloodStream, aimed at providing a dedicated platform for independent horror filmmakers. This service, accessible at bloodstreamtv.com and compatible with all major devices, has been timed to coincide with the Halloween season, offering enthusiasts a chance to explore a wide variety of horror titles.

BloodStream features two subscription options: a free, advertising-supported tier and a premium ad-free option priced at $5.99 per month or $59.99 annually. The platform boasts an impressive initial lineup of over 1,500 titles, sourced from notable genre distributors such as Well Go USA, The Asylum—known for cult classic *Sharknado*—and MPI Media’s Dark Sky Films, which has produced acclaimed titles like *The House of the Devil* and *Stake Land*.

Empowering Independent Filmmakers

Shaked Berenson, the founder of The Horror Collective and producer of films like *Slaxx* and *Turbo Kid*, emphasizes the importance of giving horror films the attention they deserve. “For years we’ve seen incredible horror films struggle to find their audiences because the mainstream platforms treat the genre as an afterthought,” he stated. “BloodStream is about giving horror the respect it deserves—a place where cult classics, festival discoveries, and global hits can live side by side.”

The programming for BloodStream will be curated by a seasoned team, including former *Entertainment Weekly* senior writer Clark Collis and filmmaker Julia Marchese. Collis expressed his enthusiasm for the new platform, saying, “BloodStream is the kind of platform I always wished existed—one that combines the thrill of discovery with a genuine passion for horror history and culture.”

Innovative Features and Theatrical Partnerships

In addition to its extensive film catalog, BloodStream has formed technological partnerships to enhance the viewer experience. Collaborating with Incantor AI, the service aims to localize films through advanced subtitling and dubbing, thereby expanding distribution opportunities for independent filmmakers in international markets.

BloodStream’s ambitions extend beyond streaming, as it plans to partner with Look Cinemas starting in January 2026. This collaboration will feature select BloodStream titles as special theatrical events across Look’s network. Shelby Schultz, director of programming at Look, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We’re beyond thrilled to bring BloodStream’s unique brand of horror to our audiences.”

As the platform prepares for its launch, it positions itself not only as a home for horror enthusiasts but also as a crucial ally for emerging filmmakers striving to connect with broader audiences. BloodStream aims to foster a community that celebrates the genre’s diversity and creativity, making it a significant addition to the landscape of streaming services.
