Quarterback Carson Camp led Southeastern Louisiana’s offense, passing for 199 yards and one touchdown. The Lions took an early lead with a 22-yard field goal by Guillermo Garcia Rodriguez, followed by a pivotal play in the third quarter where Camp connected with Deantre Jackson for a 37-yard touchdown.
Incarnate Word, known for its high-scoring games, struggled to find its rhythm. The Cardinals managed to respond late in the fourth quarter, executing a 99-yard drive that culminated in a 1-yard touchdown run by Timothy Carter. Despite their loss, Incarnate Word saw notable performances from quarterback EJ Colson, who completed 16 of 24 passes for 158 yards, and running back Jaylon Spears, who rushed for 97 yards alongside Carter’s contribution of 83 yards and a touchdown.
