Born on January 10, 1952, in Cozad, Nebraska, Sherry’s vibrant personality shone brightly from a young age. She graduated from Eustis High School in 1970, where she was celebrated as homecoming queen, captivating her peers with her spirited nature. Sherry later attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln, earning her Masters in Speech Language Pathology while forming lifelong bonds as a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.

In a bold move, Sherry spent a year in Italy, creating unforgettable memories. After college, her adventurous spirit led her to Breckenridge, Colorado, where she embarked on a multifaceted career journey. Starting on Peak 9 and in retail, she soon opened her own jewelry store, Nordica Haus, showcasing her passion for creativity. Sherry later transitioned to mortgage lending, continuing her career until retirement.

Sherry’s love for the mountains was evident in her favorite activities—skiing, hiking, and fishing at Parathyon Point. She cherished boating adventures at Gallagher Canyon and Plum Creek Canyon, often entertaining friends and family in her backyard, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Her family, including brothers Doug Turner of Sun City, AZ, and Brad Turner of Eustis, mourns her passing along with numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, who she considered family. Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Erma Turner, her brother Dallas Turner, and nephew Kelly Turner.
