UPDATE: Starting January 29, a new after-school art program called Art Lab Thursdays is set to launch in Fort Worth, TX, offering children ages 6 to 12 a vibrant space to unleash their creativity. This program is designed to foster artistic exploration and build confidence among young artists in a relaxed environment.
Parents can drop off their children every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM for a series of engaging art activities. Each session kicks off with a brief guided introduction, followed by open studio time where kids can paint, sculpt, draw, and experiment with various materials.
The focus is on the creative process rather than perfection, encouraging children to find joy in making art without the pressure of comparison. Activities will include painting, clay work, drawing, collage, and more, ensuring that every child can express themselves freely.
For families looking to participate, registration options are flexible: a $25 drop-in fee per session or a $95 monthly membership covers four Thursdays.
