The Valdosta Police Department (VPD) acted quickly following a 911 call reporting a man had been robbed at gunpoint. This urgent incident has sparked concerns about safety in the area.

The victim reported that while driving, he felt he was being followed by another vehicle. Initially thinking it was a case of road rage, he soon found himself forced to stop when the following car braked abruptly in front of him. Witnesses stated that individuals from the second vehicle approached, with one brandishing a firearm and demanding the victim roll down his window. After complying, the victim was robbed of cash before the suspects fled the scene.
