BREAKING: Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man early Saturday morning in Belmont Shore, Long Beach. Officers responded to urgent reports of gunfire in the 100 block of La Verne Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from severe gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical assistance, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe the shooting was triggered by a dispute that began at a nearby bar, escalating outside where the suspect allegedly pulled a firearm and fatally shot the victim before fleeing in a vehicle.
The suspects have been identified as 41-year-old Jason Loving and 31-year-old Dasmine Hall. Loving, a resident of Harbor City, was apprehended in Compton and is charged with murder, illegal possession of firearms, and violating a restraining order. His bail has been set at an alarming $2 million.
Hall, who was present during the incident and fled with Loving, was also arrested in Compton. She faces charges of murder and being an accessory to the crime, with her bail matching that of her co-defendant at $2 million.
