Senior Center Raises Contribution Rates, Announces Weekly Menu & Events

UPDATE: Madison County Senior Center has just announced a change in its suggested contribution rates for meals, effective immediately. Seniors aged 60 and over will now contribute $6.00, while guests under 60 will be charged $8.00. This update aims to enhance the quality and variety of meal offerings at the center.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming meal schedule:

Tuesday, December 9: Enjoy a hearty Chicken & Rice Casserole paired with Harvard Beets, Seasoned Broccoli, a Roll, Blushing Pears, and Sunshine Cake.
Wednesday, December 10: Start your day with Scrambled Eggs and Sausage, complemented by Baked Hash Browns, Biscuit & Gravy, Orange Juice, and a choice of Small Banana or Cinnamon Roll.
Thursday, December 11: Delight in Goulash served with Carrots, Peas, Garlic Bread, Tropical Fruit, and Wonderful Banana Cake.
Friday, December 12: Choose between Catfish or a Cheeseburger, paired with Sweet Potato Fries, Coleslaw, Pudding with Bananas, and Chocolate Cake.

In addition to delicious meals, the Senior Center is hosting several exciting events. Join the Free Chair Yoga class every Wednesday at 9 a.m. to promote health and wellness. For music lovers, the Jam Session will take place every Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with food served at 5 p.m..

Moreover, every Wednesday features a Devotion session, and Serenity Care offers Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar checks on the second Thursday of each month from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Don’t miss the upcoming Bingo Night on December 12, starting at 5:30 p.m.. Participate for just $10 per person and enjoy a fun evening while supporting the center.
