Midland Board Votes on Superintendent Contract in Urgent Meeting

URGENT UPDATE: The Midland Public Schools Board of Education is set to evaluate and vote on the contract of Superintendent Penny Miller-Nelson during a crucial meeting on Monday, December 15, 2023, at 7 p.m. This significant session will take place at the MPS administration center located at 600 East Carpenter.

In a pivotal move, the board will first enter a closed session to discuss Miller-Nelson’s personnel evaluation under the Open Meetings Act. Following this, they will reconvene in open session to cast their votes on her evaluation and the potential renewal of her contract.
