The boys’ game saw standout performances, with Brody Cooper leading the Knights with 19 points and six assists. Trey Barnhart contributed a double-double, adding 18 points and 10 rebounds. The Chiefs’ Christian Lynch put up a commendable 33 points, but it was not enough to turn the tide against Kellam’s relentless offense.
In the girls’ matchup, Mia Spain shone brightly, scoring 24 points as the Knights surged to an overwhelming lead of 48-12 by halftime. Kate Spain added 17 points, while Laurel Dick contributed 12 points for Kellam. The Chiefs struggled to keep pace, with their highest scorer, Nataeyah Johnson, managing only 10 points.
