Houston Police Urgently Seek Help to Identify Carjacking Suspects

URGENT UPDATE: The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a violent carjacking and armed robbery that occurred on September 2 near Midtown. The incident unfolded late at night on the 1100 block of Westheimer, where one suspect brandished a handgun and forcibly stole the victim’s vehicle.

The stolen car was recovered abandoned on the following day, September 3, on the 1400 block of Hawthorne. Authorities are treating this case with the highest priority, recorded under reference number 1152686-25.

Police describe one suspect as a Black male, aged between 50–55 years old, approximately 5’7″ tall, and weighing between 150–160 pounds. He may be known by the name “Charles” or “UNC.” The second suspect remains unidentified but is also a Black male.

Anyone with information is urged to act immediately.
