Bagaduce Music Launches Urgent New Concert Series with Gawler Band

URGENT UPDATE: Bagaduce Music has just announced the launch of its highly anticipated Second Wednesday House Concert Series, set to kick off on January 14, 2026, featuring the joyful Gawler Family Band. This exciting new monthly series invites the community to break up their week with a blend of live music and social engagement.

The event unfolds at 49 South St., Blue Hill, starting at 5 p.m. with a free guided jam session open to all. Attendees can enjoy dinner from the Conscious Café from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., creating a vibrant atmosphere perfect for mingling before the main concert.

The Gawler Family Band, known for their energetic and uplifting performances, takes the stage at 7:30 p.m.. This beloved ensemble, consisting of John and Ellen Gawler alongside their daughters Molly, Edith, and Elsie, brings a unique sound that combines traditional music from Maine and the Northeast, enriched by Scots-Irish and French Canadian influences.

With a repertoire ranging from lively dance tunes to heartfelt ballads, the Gawlers captivate audiences with their masterful fiddle and banjo playing. Expect an evening filled with humor, rich harmonies, and engaging anecdotes that make each performance feel like a shared experience.
