URGENT UPDATE: The highly anticipated Annual Friends of the Conant Public Library Arts & Crafts Show is relocating this year, promising more convenience and space for holiday shoppers. Set to take place on Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the event will be held at Houghton Elementary and Chocksett Middle School, located at 32 Boutelle Road, Sterling.
With over 50 vendors expected, this year’s show offers a wealth of high-quality, handmade gifts from talented local artisans. “The new venue allows space for even more artists and craftspeople,” said Beth Cyr, chairperson of the craft fair, emphasizing the event’s growth and popularity.
Shoppers can look forward to a diverse array of products, including returning favorites like alpaca goods, aromatherapy items, and unique home decor. New offerings this year will feature maple syrup, custom pet portraits, and artisanal food products. “We are excited to introduce new vendors for our community to enjoy,” Cyr added.
Traditions will remain, including a bake sale, cheese sale, and a raffle, ensuring the holiday spirit is alive and well at the new location. Admission is just $2, with proceeds supporting vital programs at the Conant Public Library. Each attendee will receive a “Passport” to be stamped at three locations for a chance to win exciting prizes.
While vendor spaces are currently full, artisans interested in participating next year can contact Cyr at [email protected] to join the waiting list. For more details, visit the Friends of the Conant Public Library Arts & Crafts Show on Facebook or find them on Instagram at @ConantLibraryCraftFair.
