Net Insight Unveils TN3100E TimeNode for Enhanced GNSS Resilience

Net Insight has launched the Zyntai TimeNode 3100E, a state-of-the-art device designed to enhance Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) resilience in demanding environments. This new offering is a significant addition to the Zyntai product family, aimed at markets that require reliable timing solutions amid challenging conditions.

The TN3100E features multiband GNSS capabilities, which improve accuracy and support India’s regional GNSS, IRNSS/NavIC. It is equipped with advanced anti-jamming and anti-spoofing technologies, ensuring robust performance even in the toughest scenarios. This hardware is particularly relevant for sectors that rely heavily on precise timing, including telecommunications, transportation, and public safety.

Innovative Features and Market Relevance

The TN3100E incorporates multiband operation, which enhances its accuracy and availability. In addition, it supports the Open Service Navigation Message Authentication (OSNMA) used by Galileo to verify signal authenticity. This advanced functionality, combined with Net Insight’s proprietary time-based anti-spoofing techniques, provides unparalleled protection against spoofing threats.

Crister Fritzson, CEO of Net Insight, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “I’m very pleased to announce TN3100E. Its enhanced GNSS resilience functionalities make it ideal for markets where critical networks operate in tougher environments, making this product relevant for both existing and new potential customers.” He emphasized the significance of the device for the large Indian market due to its support for IRNSS/NavIC.

The TN3100E is not just a product; it is a response to the rigorous demands of modern technology. Per Lindgren, Group CTO and Head of Sync at Net Insight, highlighted the importance of integrating new hardware with cutting-edge software. “With TN3100E, we’re combining new hardware with our latest software to deliver advanced functionalities that ensure GNSS resilience — even in the harshest conditions,” he stated.

Proven Performance in Real-World Testing

Net Insight has validated the TN3100E’s capabilities through rigorous testing, including its participation in the Jammertest, the world’s largest open GNSS resilience test. Lindgren noted, “Running our technology at this year’s Jammertest allowed us to prove our capabilities and bring insights from real-world environments beyond the lab, in the toughest GNSS conditions possible. The results were outstanding, and we’re excited to now bring this to market as a commercial product.”

With the launch of the TN3100E, Net Insight not only strengthens its Zyntai portfolio but also positions itself as a leader in GNSS resilience technology. The company aims to address the critical needs of various industries, ensuring that they can operate effectively without the threat of disruption from GNSS interference. As the demand for reliable timing solutions continues to grow, the TN3100E stands out as a vital tool for organizations worldwide.
