In the Second Region, Edward Marlowe from WKDZ-FM places Henderson County at the top, while the Third Region, represented by Mark Mathis of the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer, ranks Daviess County first.
The structure of the poll aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the state’s basketball talent, with each region contributing its insights to the rankings.
As the season progresses, the Elite 16 poll will continue to reflect the performance of these high school teams, building anticipation for the upcoming tournaments. The rankings not only highlight individual team successes but also foster a sense of community and competition across Kentucky’s basketball landscape.
