Baxter senior Eli Dee has achieved recognition for his outstanding performance on the football field, earning a spot on the second team of the Iowa Football Coaches Association all-state squads. This accolade follows Dee’s successful transition from quarterback to wide receiver midway through the previous season, which culminated in a first team all-district selection.

With a full season dedicated to playing wide receiver in 2025, Dee demonstrated his prowess by completing both of his passes for a total of 45 yards. He also showcased his versatility, rushing for 63 yards and scoring one touchdown on six carries.
