Boston College started the game with a promising momentum, quickly establishing a 12-7 lead after making five of its first seven shots. However, the Wildcats responded effectively, launching a 16-6 run that shifted the momentum in their favor. By the time the first half concluded, Davidson held a narrow 33-31 lead.
