The Indonesian National Police, led by General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, reaffirmed its commitment to support government initiatives during the 2026 Leadership Meeting (Rapim) held in Jakarta. This event emphasized the police force’s role in monitoring and facilitating the implementation of key government programs.
During the meeting on February 10, 2026, at the Krakatau Grand Ballroom in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, General Prabowo highlighted that the police’s commitment aligns with directives from President Prabowo Subianto issued during a prior joint meeting with the military and police on February 9, 2026. “We are outlining the directives from the President, particularly concerning the government’s work plan for 2026. The Polri is dedicated to fully supporting and overseeing government programs,” Prabowo stated.
The agenda included discussions on various crucial topics, such as food self-sufficiency, energy initiatives, and downstream processing, which are integral components of the government’s priority programs. General Prabowo noted, “We will continue to support the execution of government programs to realize Indonesia’s economic goals.”
The police’s active involvement is seen as vital in fostering a conducive environment for these initiatives, aiming to enhance national economic stability and growth. The focus on food and energy security reflects broader efforts to address pressing economic challenges and ensure sustainable development in Indonesia.
As the government aims to implement its strategic plans effectively, the commitment from the Indonesian National Police signals a coordinated approach to achieving the nation’s objectives for 2026 and beyond.
