The annual Spooky Sprint returns to Fort Worth on October 28, 2023, featuring a range of family-friendly races including a 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon. This Halloween-themed event promises an exciting atmosphere with engaging activities for participants of all ages.

Runners can expect a festive experience filled with unique offerings. Each participant will receive a designer shirt, a custom medal, and a bib for their chosen race. The event features chip-timing with live results, ensuring that runners can track their performance in real-time. Additionally, free photos will be available to capture the memorable moments at the finish line.

For those who may not be able to attend in person, the Spooky Sprint offers a virtual race option. Participants can run at their convenience and still earn the exclusive race swag. This flexibility allows even those unable to travel to Fort Worth to join in the fun.

The registration fees vary by race, with special youth pricing available. For the 5k and 10k, children aged 12 and under can register for just $17. Each race category offers enticing incentives:

– The Half Marathon registration includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and an impressive finisher medal.
– The 10k participants will receive similar benefits, while the 5k includes all the essentials along with its own finisher medal.
– Additionally, the 1 Mile registration is untimed and features a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal.

A special Kid’s Dash is also scheduled for children aged 10 and under, providing an untimed experience with its own mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specially crafted medal. Importantly, children can participate in the Kid’s Dash for free if they choose not to receive the race swag.

To ensure participants receive their shirts, registration must be completed by midnight on October 19, 2023, which is two Thursdays before race day.

The Spooky Sprint not only offers a chance to enjoy Halloween festivities but also emphasizes community engagement and fitness. Grab your friends and family and prepare for a memorable day of running and celebration in Fort Worth!
