Doris C. Schleh, aged 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on December 5, 2025. Known for her warmth and vibrant spirit, Doris was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy, and grandsons Tyler and Jacob. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Thora and Gaylord Geary; her husbands, Edward Matsen and Charles Schleh; her son, John Matsen; granddaughter Teasha; and siblings, including sisters Norma Kjos and Viola Hauge, and brother Arnold Geary.
Doris had a zest for life that was evident in her love for dancing and socializing. Tuesday nights were often reserved for dressing up and dancing with her friends at the Red Barn. She also enjoyed lunches with her family, creating lasting memories that her loved ones will cherish.
Memorial Gathering Scheduled
A gathering for family and friends will take place at Wulff Funeral Home, located at 1485 White Bear Ave. N., St. Paul, Minnesota 55106, on February 27, 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00. This event will provide an opportunity for those who knew Doris to come together, share stories, and celebrate her remarkable life.
Doris C. Schleh’s legacy will live on through her family and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and spirit. Her memory will be honored by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
