Nick Hiteshew, who has been at the helm of the company for the past few years, expressed gratitude for the support from both new and returning customers. “We are grateful for the hundreds of new and repeat customers we’ve had over the years,” he stated. The business was founded by his parents, Krissy and Richard Hiteshew, nearly three decades ago, in 1996.

Hiteshew noted, “We’ll change out the gas heater to an electric one to get to an all-electric state.” The company also offers a maintenance program that includes biannual inspections and cleaning services.
The legacy of A-1 Guaranteed is rooted in family values. Hiteshew recalls assisting his father with various tasks from a young age. “Luckily, I have a very strong team,” he remarked, deflecting praise for the company’s success. “Without my team, I would not be able to do what I’m doing.”

Hiteshew shared, “My older sister, my younger sister, my brother-in-law, my younger brother, and two cousins work here, and my uncle’s in the shop, too.” He emphasized the close-knit nature of the family, stating, “Our whole family is really close. We all work together.”
A-1 Guaranteed has also demonstrated employee loyalty, with two team members celebrating 20 years of service this Christmas and another with over 22 years of dedication. “They are basically family,” Hiteshew added, highlighting the strong ties that bind the team together.
