More than 148,000 bottles of a dietary supplement are being recalled due to a significant risk of child poisoning, as stated by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The recall involves the Ultimate Multivitamin+ Dietary Supplement sold on the Mindbodygreen website from November 2021 through November 2025. The supplements contain iron, which must be packaged in child-resistant containers under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.
The current packaging does not meet these safety requirements, creating a potential risk of serious injury or death if ingested by young children. The CPSC urges consumers to immediately secure the recalled bottles out of children’s reach and to contact Mindbodygreen for a free, child-resistant replacement cap.
While no injuries have been reported, the CPSC emphasizes the importance of taking precautionary measures. Consumers can continue using the supplements as directed once they have ensured the bottles are safely stored. The supplements were priced between $40 and $70, depending on the subscription chosen.
For further assistance, consumers can reach out to Mindbodygreen via email at [email protected], or visit their website at shop.mindbodygreen.com/pages/multi-update. More information can be found by clicking “Important Multi packaging update” at the bottom of the page.
In addition to this recall, consumers should remain vigilant about other product recalls. Recently, various items have been pulled from the market due to safety concerns, including a popular baby snack by Gerber and folding outdoor chairs posing injury risks. Staying informed can help prevent accidents and ensure safety at home.
