Joe Manganiello and his fiancée, Caitlin O’Connor, have officially relocated from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The couple’s move comes as they seek a change in environment, exchanging the Hollywood lifestyle for the charm of their hometown. Their decision, which has been in the works for some time, coincides with the recent cancellation of Manganiello’s game show, Deal or No Deal Island, by NBC.
In a recent interview, O’Connor confirmed their new residence in Mount Lebanon, a suburb of Pittsburgh. She described the transition as a “recent move,” emphasizing that it had been considered long before their departure from Los Angeles. “I mean, L.A. has been both of our homes for over 20 years,” O’Connor stated, highlighting their shared roots in Pittsburgh.
O’Connor, who was born in Los Angeles but raised in Pittsburgh, expressed enthusiasm about their new neighborhood. “I’ve never been in a more beautiful neighborhood in Pittsburgh. It’s just idyllic,” she said, noting the area’s safety and welcoming atmosphere. The couple appears to be adjusting well to their new surroundings, despite the colder weather they are now experiencing.
The relocation comes at the beginning of the holiday season, and O’Connor shared their plans for a “big family celebration” in Pittsburgh. They intend to invite their parents and friends for Christmas festivities, embracing the warmth of family during the holidays.
Amidst settling into their new life, the couple will continue to travel back to Los Angeles for work commitments, ensuring that they maintain ties to their professional lives in Hollywood. O’Connor humorously recounted watching Manganiello shovel snow for two-and-a-half hours, calling it the “hottest thing” she had ever seen.
As they embark on this new chapter, Manganiello and O’Connor remain excited about their future, balancing their personal lives with ongoing professional obligations.
