European fashion brand Jack & Jones has officially entered the United States market with the opening of two stores, marking a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy. The first store will be located at Freehold Raceway Mall in New Jersey, while the second is set to open at Danbury Fair Mall in Connecticut. This move signifies the beginning of the brand’s U.S. expansion, with plans for additional locations in the future.
Both stores will showcase the extensive collections of Jack & Jones, a menswear brand founded in Denmark, alongside its women’s fashion line, JJXX. The anticipated opening of the Freehold location is expected to occur in early 2024. Originally starting as a denim-focused label, Jack & Jones has evolved into an international retailer with over 4,000 stores worldwide. The brand is known for its diverse offerings, which include denim, tailored wear, casual clothing, urban sportswear, and accessories.
JJXX aims to provide women with “bold, contemporary styles” centered around high-quality denim and versatile essentials, empowering them to express their individuality with confidence.
According to Anders Gam, brand director of Jack & Jones, the United States has long been regarded as a crucial market for the company. “We’re excited to introduce our unique blend of denim expertise and accessible fashion,” Gam stated. He emphasized the brand’s eagerness to engage with U.S. consumers, highlighting their commitment to delivering “great denim, on-trend fashion, and prices that make it easy to keep your style fresh.”
The launch of Jack & Jones in New Jersey has also garnered positive feedback from local retail officials. Eric Bunyan, senior vice president of leasing at Macerich, the company that owns Freehold Raceway Mall, noted that the brand brings fresh energy to the shopping center. “Their focus on quality, style, and versatile fashion perfectly complements the shopping experience our guests expect,” he remarked.
As Jack & Jones embarks on this new chapter in the U.S. market, the brand is poised to make a significant impact on the American fashion landscape. The combination of their established reputation in Europe and a tailored approach to meet U.S. consumer preferences sets a promising foundation for future growth.
