The highly anticipated Netflix House officially opens its doors to the public in Dallas on December 11, 2023. This new venue offers fans an innovative way to engage with their favorite programming from the streaming service. Spanning over 100,000 square feet, Netflix House is a permanent exhibit featuring immersive experiences based on popular Netflix shows and films such as Wednesday, Squid Game, One Piece, Stranger Things, and the A Knives Out Mystery franchise.
Dallas becomes only the second city in the United States to host a Netflix House, following Philadelphia. Prior to the public opening, a VIP event was held on December 9 for media, influencers, and local celebrities, including notable figures such as David Harbour and Cara Buono from Stranger Things, as well as Alexandra Breckenridge from Virgin River.
Unique Experiences Await Visitors
Visitors to Netflix House can enjoy a range of exciting attractions. Entry is free, and guests are greeted by a striking grand staircase adorned with artwork referencing popular shows, making it an ideal spot for selfies. For those seeking deeper engagement, two experiential rooms stand out: Stranger Things: Escape the Dark and Squid Game: Survive the Trials. Each room is priced at $39 per person and takes approximately one hour to complete.
In the Squid Game room, participants can experience five different games, including the iconic Red Light, Green Light. The Stranger Things room challenges visitors to embark on a search-and-rescue mission for three missing individuals.
Dining and Entertainment Options
Upon ascending the staircase, guests will encounter Netflix Bites, a full-service bar and restaurant offering a menu inspired by various shows and films. Highlights include the Red Bite and Green Bite chicken bites, Emily’s Italian Fling Salad inspired by the series Emily in Paris, and the Huntr/x Power Up Ssam, a pork dish themed around K-Pop culture.
In a separate area, Netflix RePLAY hosts a selection of arcade games tailored to Netflix content. Visitors can compete in interactive games such as a tug-of-war inspired by Squid Game and a Bridgerton-themed ball maze.
Shoppers can explore a dedicated gift shop stocked with merchandise including T-shirts, mugs, keychains, and replica props from various Netflix properties.
As Netflix continues to expand its reach, the venue may soon feature characters and themes from other franchises, especially with ongoing discussions about a potential acquisition of Warner Bros. Pictures. This could enhance Netflix House’s offerings with iconic properties from DC Comics and other beloved films.
Netflix House in Dallas not only provides fans with an engaging experience but also solidifies the company’s commitment to creating immersive environments that celebrate its diverse range of programming. Whether dining, playing games, or exploring the themed rooms, visitors are sure to find something that captures the magic of their favorite shows.
